About the Role:

We are looking for casual Paramedics – Intensive Care / Critical Care who will deliver first aid and medical services at events and venues across South East Queensland (Brisbane and Gold Coast). Reporting to our Operations Manager, you will be working amongst a respected team of health care professionals, to keep the community safe.

Qualifications and Experience:

Registered Paramedics (Critical Care)

  • Paramedicine Qualification – Diploma or Degree
  • Post Graduate Qualification – Grad Dip or Masters (Critical Care)
  • Registration as a Registered Paramedic with AHPRA
  • Completed Critical Care or Intensive Care Paramedic internship with state Ambulance
  • Relevant experience as a Critical Care or Intensive Care Paramedic

These roles are suited for those who are experienced clinicians.

Our team are covered by comprehensive public liability, professional medical malpractice insurance, and workers compensation insurance.

Our industry leading clinical governance is overseen by our Medical Director and Clinical Manager. We hold relevant Queensland Health approvals to posses and administer medicines in line with our clinical guidelines and drug therapy protocols.

Positions are offered on a casual basis with shift times varying across the week. Most work is on weekends. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing health services to patients within clinical scope.
  • Ensuring patient care recording and incident reporting is completed within allocated timeframes.
  • Following directions of 1300MEDICS supervisory and management team
