1300MEDICS has a vacancy for multiple First Responders and Graduate Paramedics in Melbourne to work at major events and venues across Summer 2024-2025 on ongoing.
1300MEDICS is the leading provider of event first aid and medical services on the east coast of Australia. Due to increased demand for our services we are opening up an intake to join our team on a casual basis.
We are seeking First Responders to work as part of our medical team alongside senior Registered Paramedics, Registered Nurses and Doctors.
First Responders must have availability for:
- New Years Eve – Tuesday 31 December 2024 (essential)
- Labour Day Weekend 8, 9 10 March 2025 (essential)
- A variety of rotating casual shifts seven days per week with most work falling on weekends over the summer period
- Note: the 1300MEDICS Victorian Branch Headquarters is located in Tullamarine
First Responders require the following qualifications – we offer discounted training opportunities for successful applicants if required:
- HLTAID014 – Provide Advanced First Aid
- HLTAID015 – Provide advanced resuscitation
- PUAEME005 – Provide pain management
First Responders require the following experience:
- Experience in providing patient care, OR
- Students of Paramedicine, OR
- Students of Nursing, OR
Graduate Paramedics require the following qualifications –
- Unrestricted AHPRA Paramedicine Registration, OR
- Currently in final term of studies with an application submitted to AHPRA
